CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS??

Sometimes I have to suck it up and look at the bigger picture. I see a beautiful female with a modicum of biblical knowledge. I see a program that is designed to bring in funds for the greater good of the network that pays her for the appearance. I pray that the people that see this do not go to deep into the story, so as to put themselves into financial caution.

Then they, the TV personality, spew forth prayer that is almost scripted from many other successful fundraising programs that bring in emergancy funds, or other, into the ministry funds for future TV time and money. I have watched Steve Muncey from Indiana, on the big networks, TBN..TGN..and his home station the old Lester Sumerall TV network, now based in Indiania and Hawaii. The likes of Mike Murdock...Steve Muncey..and others have gone at a great sacrifice to Hawaii, and given of their time and talents to the network for the purpose of raising operating funds for the coming year.

They all have a formula, which is mathamatical,. seven or eight..GOD's numbers according to them that will give you a blessing beyond your ability to count or spend. You will be debt free, and have the wealth of the world to have for your personal spending habits and gifts. Mostly to them.

It always amazes me that GOD never had that message in HIS word. HE always commanded us to give of our tithes and offerings to HIM. The TITHE was from the top of the income that we grossed. The OFFERING was that which GOD spoke to us to retun to HIM from the surplus. That money is for the local ministries that we have a spiritual sensitivity to from HIS word to our heart. We do not need some slick TV huckster to remind us that he could use your gifts for the greater seed that is prosperous thru his ministry.


He does not speak for GOD. Thank you, GOD speaks for HIMSELF, and he will let you know, if you have ears to hear. In other words, just shut up and listen, HE always speaks to our hearts. We need to know that we are not the ones that have the answer to the questions that we give to HIM...He is the one that speaks to our hearts, and gives us the answers to all the petitions we have put to HIM. We need to know that HE has the answer and the promise was not to agree with our request, rather to give the best response that is to the best interest of the need we have at the time of the request.

So, I guess that I am once again at the point of breaking with the constant begging for money from the various ministries that are currently on the tube, which all have the same needs. To Keep the Leader of the ministry in the latest luxury automibile.. A Great home to live in and a first class way to travel from meeting to meeting, until they can have a Jet. 98% of the current TV ministries have a corporate Jet to travel in, and they have nothing less than first class accomodations at the hotels they stay in.

So as I leave you, please remember that the GOD that sent HIS SON for our eternal life has a great plan for your life..and HE will present it to you when you are ready to listen and respond for the good of the Kingdom.
